On Kravchuk Drive, we built an energy-efficient home to net-zero standards. However, we cannot call it a net-zero home because the Town of Groveland’s electric company does not allow net metering.

The home is 2,448 square feet. It features a two-car garage, utility room, bathroom, and media room at the basement level. The first floor is an open concept with the living, kitchen, and dining room accessible to a rear deck. A laundry room and a home office complete the first floor. The second floor has two bedrooms, two baths, and a mechanical room for the air handler.
